The Chronicle of Kua - Bok Kua to Kim Kua

After so many sad things happen on Bok Kua, he plan to give up everything he has and start a brand new life. Hence, he find Dang Kua and pass him the key of his house and the rest of his asset such as fishing rod, Bok Kua favorite bottle, etc. 


After farewell to his dearest friend Dang Kua, Bok Kua started his journey to the southern part of the island. He intended to find Lao Huang Kua to hire Bok Kua as assistant to assist him on his daily routine. Since the gold mine was managed by Lao Huang Kua alone all the while, Bok Kua thought he might have the chance to get the job.


It will be a long journey to reach the gold mine because it is the furthest area in the island from the village. Bok Kua have rest of his time having a mock interview with himself while heading to the gold mine.


Finally, after three days and two nights on the dirt road Bok Kua finally reach the gold mine. He was so excited and he went searching for Lao Huang Kua. He search all around the gold mine but he cannot find him. So, he decided to went inside the gold mine to search for Lao Huang Kua. 


Without anyone leading Bok Kua, he end up lost inside the gold mine. He shout out loud for Lao Huang Kua but there was no response. In the other hand, Lao Huang Kua was busy digging for gold mine with his super loud music headphone attached. It is impossible for Lao Huang Kua to hear anyone. 


Lao Huang Kua continue with his digging and Bok Kua continue to find his way out of the mine. Bok Kua was exhausted due to the airway in the mine is stuffy. Out of a sudden, a * flup * sound and he felt on a hole full of gold and fainted.


It back to Lao Huang Kua schedule to bring the gold outside of the mine to clean and polish before he sold it to the villagers. When he gather the gold, he accidentally carried Bok Kua along and he did not notice on it.


As usual, Lao Huang Kua will take his brush and professional polish the gold till shining. Poor Bok Kua was in the group of gold and is polished by Lao Huang Kua till shining in gold color. When Lao Huang Kua washing the gold with warm water, his act finally wake Bok Kua from blackout.


Lao Huang Kua was shocked and so do Bok Kua after saw his reflection in the water. Lao Huang Kua feel sorry for what he done and he suggest that Bok Kua work together with him to repay what he had done got Bok Kua.


It was a great news to Bok Kua as finally he got a place to live and someone to rely one. Since, Bok Kua was polished until golden color, Lao Huang Kua called Bok Kua as "Kim Kua" ( 金瓜 - pumpkin)


Bok Kua is now Kim Kua, and he live happily ever after with Lao Huang Kua
