Yes, as stated in the title, I'd gotten my iPad 2 last Monday. I'm now busy with my work and have no time to update my blog. Hopefully I will have sometime for myself to update more details on iPad 2

iPad 2 is coming to town

Yesterday I received email from Apple store saying that iPad 2 is shipping. Estimated delivery date is 19th May 2011. Currently, I'm not sure where it's exact location.

WD Elements 2TB (RM309) is what I get this round during PIKOM PC Fair. It took me some times to struggle just to get one hard disk. At the end, I went for WD Elements instead of My Book Studio 2TB (my 2 choices) because My Book Studio 2TB is out of stock.

During unpacking the box, to my surprise that the adapter have 3 type of changeable head which is good for those that always travel. But, I do not think that people will travel with a 3.5" hard disk.

Comparing to My Book Studio 2TB cost around RM349, My Book Studio cost RM40 more expensive but it include a auto backup software and during any damage to your hard drive within 3 years, Western Digital will restore the content of your hard disk. This is something which was not provided by WD Elements.

PIKOM PC Fair (I) May 2011

Today I went to PIKOM PC Fair with my friend to shop for hard disk and to get some information about 3G plan for my future iPad 2. I manage to get the item I wanted but for the 3G plan, it was not fruitful as most of the sales person are promoting more on the postpaid plan rather than prepaid plan. However, me and my friend prefer prepaid plan which is more reasonable for us that will only use it on and off.

After one round of information gathering and sightseeing, I went to grab hard disk and a universal charger for my friend. Due to my hard disk cost around RM300 within single receipt, I'm eligible for the lucky draw and a PIKOM 25th anniversary post it note.

Here come Smart Cover

After monitoring the DHL site for a few days, finally it is here. I'm not sure why the Smart Cover and iPad 2 was not come in bundle (may be Steve Jobs does not want his customer to wait for an item too long), I had received my Smart Cover before my iPad 2. I'm going to leave the cover unwrap until I got my hand on my iPad 2

iPad 2 - Smart Cover Location Update

Yes, iPad 2 Smart Cover is now located at DHL warehouse Kuala Lumpur. Just within one day, it shifted from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur. Hopefully they will reach me tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. Although the main character was not here yet. So, now let me feel the cover first
